Clams, Full Quantity Guaranteed; " and, no clams shall be
offered for sale that do not measure at least one and one-half
inches in dimension at its longest points. Any person, firm or
corporation which shall falsely mark any such container with
a number larger than is actually contained therein, or which
shall sell or offer for sale any clams of a size smaller than is
provided in this Section shall be deemed guilty of a misde-
meanor, and shall, upon conviction, be fined or imprisoned as
hereinafter provided.
SEC. 6. And be it further enacted. That any person violat-
ing the provisions of this Act shall upon conviction thereof be-
fore any Justice of the Peace for said County, be fined not
less than Twenty Dollars nor more than One Hundred, Dol-
lars, or shall be committed to the County Jail for a period not
exceeding 60 days, at the discretion of said Justice, the defend-
ant having the right of appeal to the Circuit Court for said
County. All persons taking or catching clams under the pro-
visions of this Act shall exhibit their authority for so doing
when required by any officer of the oyster police force or other
officers of the State.
SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of June, 1916.

CHAPTER 180.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments sections
45E, 45F and 45H of Article 14 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Howard County, " sub-title
"County Commissioners and County Collect6rs, " as said
sections were enacted by chapter 315 of the Acts of 1910.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That sections 45E, 45F and 45H of Article 14 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Howard
County, " sub-title "County Commissioners and County Col-
lectors, " as said sections were enacted by chapter 315 of the
Acts of 1910, be and the same are hereby repealed and re-
enacted, so as to read as follows:
