County in Equity by bill or petition, and to obtain such re-
lief in such manner, as said Court may decide upon hear-
ing all the facts in connection with the question so raised.
The lien aforesaid for said taxes shall be enforced against any
lot and improvements at any time after the first day of Janu-
ary, succeeding the date of such levy, but no such proceedings
to enforce such lien, shall be taken unless authorized by an
ordinance adopted at the previous Annual Meeting of said
Community; and the Bailiff or Tax Collector or Treasurer of
said Community or either one of said officers, shall have all of
the rights and powers for the collection and enforcement of
said taxes, as are given the County Treasurer of Garrett Coun-
ty, under Chapter 566 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, approved on the eighth day of April, 1890, and to
the same extent as if the said Act was enacted in this amend-
ment verbatim, unless the proceedings of such Treasurer or
Collector shall be modified by ordinances, passed by the An-
nual Meeting, which body shall have the power at any time to
modify or change the method of collection of said taxes.

CHAPTER 1Y7.
AN ACT to repeal Chapter 364 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, Session of 1912, entitled "An Act
to regulate the salaries of school teachers in Wicomico
County, Maryland, and to provide for the levying by the
County Commissioners of said County of the funds neces-
sary to provide for the payment of the salaries of such
teachers. "
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Chapter 364 of the Acts of the General As-
sembly of Maryland, Session of 1912, entitled "An Act to
regulate the salaries of School teachers in Wicomico County,
Maryland, and to provide for the levying by the County Com-
missioners of said County for the funds necessary to provide
for the payment of the salaries of such, teachers, " be and the
same is hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect the first day of June, 1916.
