CHAPTER 167.
AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Wicomico
County to grant permission to abutting property owners on
public or County roads to build sidewalks on the side of
the public or County roads in said Wicomico County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Wicomico
County be and are hereby authorized and empowered in their
discretion to grant permission to abutting property owners to
build sidewalks along the public or county roads in front of
their property, and prescribe rules and regulations as to the
width and material thereof and such other regulations as the
said County Commissioners may provide.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall not
take effect until the first day of June, 1916.

CHAPTER 168.
AN ACT to authorize the State Board of Education to pay to
Charles T. Wright of Harford County a pension as provided
for in Section 62 of Article 77 of Bagby's Annotated Code
of Public General Laws of Maryland, title "Public Educa-
tion, " sub-title "Teachers. "
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the State Board of Education be and it is here-
by authorized and empowered to place the name of Charles
T. Wright of Harford County upon the teachers' retired list
provided for in Section 62 of Article 77 of Bagby's Annotated
Code of Public General Laws, and to certify regularly to the
Comptroller of the Treasury of this State the name of the said
Charles T. Wright, together with the names of other retired
teachers of this State, and that an annual pension of ($200. 00)
Two Hundred Dollars be paid to the said Charles T. Wright
in quarterly instalments by the Treasurer of this State upon
the warrant of the Comptroller, as other teachers on said re-
tired list, are paid.
