shall not exceed the sum of twenty cents on each one hundred
dollars of assessable property as aforesaid.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That for the purposes of this
Act, the metes and bounds of the village of Lutherville shall be
deemed and taken to be as follows, that is to say: Beginning
at the intersection of the York Turnpike Road and a road run-
ning along the northern boundary of the property formerly
owned by William S Collings and following said road in a
westerly direction until it strikes the east side of the Northern
Central Railway, thence southerly, binding on the east side of
the said railway to a bridge crossing a stream near Creighton
Sanitarium and Boyce's coal yard, thence following said stream
and another stream that empties into it in a southerly and east-
erly direction to the County road leading from Riderwood to
Lutherville, thence following said road in a northerly and east-
terly direction until it reaches the property upon which is built
the colored Odd Fellow Hall, thence. in one continuous straight
line diagonally across the Worley estate property and through
a strip of woodland belonging to the Ridgelys of Hampton and
across the tracks of the Towson and Cockeysville Electric Rail-
way to the northwesternmost corner of the property of James
W. Shea and wife, thence following the northernmost boundary
line of the Shea property in an easterly direction to the western-
most boundary line of a field owned by Otho E Ridgely and
wife, thence following the said western boundary line and the
northern boundary line of said field to a point on the west side
of the York Turnpike Road about 50 yards south of Seminary
avenue, at the division line between the Ridgely field and the
property of J. Clinton Kidd, and thence following the west side
of said York Turnpike Road to the place of beginning.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the Act of the General As-
sembly of Maryland approved April 10th, 1914, and known as
Chapter 294 of the Acts of Assembly of the year 1914, be and
the same is hereby repealed.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That as this Act is one
of emergency and necessary for the immediate preservation of
the public safety, the tax levy being made before June 1, of
each year, it shall therefore take effect from the date of its
passage.
