EMERSON C. HARRINGTON, GOVERNOR, 239

with a line parallel to and one-tenth of a mile west of said
road northeasterly one and three-quarters miles to a point
northwest from John Ferran's house at New Detmold; thence
with a straight line passing Ferran's house on the north there-
of southeast one-eighth of a mile to the center of George's
Creek; thence up the said creek northeasterly about one and
one-third miles to the County bridge over George's Creek at
the south end of Kanapp's Meadow; thence with the old orig-
inal County Road leading over the mountain to Woodland one-
eighth of a mile to a point where said County road intersects
the Cumberland & George's Creek Railroad; thence with said
Railroad one-eighth of a mile to the sixth line of said original
District; and thence with said line northwesterly one and
eight-tenths miles to the place where the Koontz Run Road
crosses the Garrett County line; thence with the Garrett Coun-
ty line southwest two miles to the beginning.

District No. 10 Precinct No. 2, Lonaconing.
Beginning at the center of George's Creek opposite O'Han-
ley's Alley in Lonaconing, said alley being the continuation of
Douglas Avenue, and running thence from George's Creek
with the center of said alley with Douglas Avenue and with
the County Read up Koontz Run northwesterly two miles to
the Garrett County line; thence with a straight line south-
easterly one and eight-tenths miles to the George's Creek Rail-
road at a point on said railroad three-quarters of a mile north-
west from the railroad bridge crossing George's Creek opposite
Pine Hill Dump; thence with said railroad southeasterly one-
eighth of a mile to a point where the old original County road
leading over the mountain to Woodland intersects with said
railroad; and thence with said County Road southeast one-
eighth of a mile to the County bridge over George's Creek at
the south end of Kanapp's Meadow; thence with George's
Creek southwest one mile to the beginning.

District No. 27, Gilmore.

Beginning at Wolfe's Rock on Dans Mountain, it being the
end of the fourth line of District No. 18, Ocean, and running
thence reversing the lines of said District northwesterly two
and one-half miles passing through the Burnt Field and the
Staup farm to the intersection of the second line of the boun-
dary of the town of Midland with the County road leading
from said town to the town of Lonaconing; and running thence
with the limits of Midland south eighty-four and one-quarter
degrees west two-tenths of a mile to George's Creek; and run-
