or persons securing the conviction of such offender. Such
licensee shall have said license with him while gunning or
hunting and shall exhibit the same whenever called upon by
any citizen of said County to so do and upon refusal to so
exhibit such license, such person so refusing shall be guilty of
a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall pay a fine
of not more than five dollars and costs for each offense, and
in default the offender shall be confined in the county jail for
not more than thirty days; the whole of such fine to go to the
informer or the person or persons securing the conviction of
such offender. Nothing in this Section shall apply to any non-
resident owning lands in said Caroline County, who may desire,
during the open season to gun for, hunt or pursue, upon such
lands so owned by said person or persons any such birds, game
or animals.

Section 27D. All moneys received by the Clerk of the Cir-
cuit Court for Caroline County for license issued under sec-
tion 27B exclusive of the Clerk's fee for issuing such license,
shall be paid over at the end of each month to the County Com-
missioners for said Caroline County.

Section 27E: The State Game. Warden or his deputy or
deputies are hereby empowered to make arrests without a war-
rant of any person or persons upon their seeing or know-
ing of any violation of any of the aforesaid sections and are
hereby expressly exempted from any liability because of any
arrest he or they make while in the performance of their
duties.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all acts and parts
of acts inconsistent with this act, be and the same are hereby
repealed.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of June, nineteen hundred and six-
teen.

of Article 14 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
