Maryland to follow immediately after Section 104 of said Arti-
cle 48, said amended and additional Sections to be known as.
Sections 99, 100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, ' 108, 109, 110
and 111 and to read as follows:

99. The term "agricultural seeds" or "agricultural seed"
as used in this Act, shall be defined as seeds of Canada blue-
grass, Kentucky bluegrass, brome grass, all fescues, tall meadow
oatgrass, orchard grass, redtop or herd grass, Italian ryegrass,
perennial ryegrass, timothy, Sudan grass, sorghum or cane,
kaffir corn, the millets, red (English) clover, mammoth (sap-
ling) clover, crimson (scarlet) clover, alfalfa, alsike clover,
white clover, sweet clover, Japan clover, vetches, soy (soja)
beans, cowpeas, Canada field peas, buckwheat, rape, barley,
corn, oats, rye, wheat, and any other forage or cover-crop
plants, the seeds of which are sold, stored, offered or exposed for
sale or distribution, or had in possession with intent to sell for
seeding purposes within the State of Maryland.

100. Every lot of agricultural seeds, as defined in Section 99,
when in bulk or in packages or other containers of ten (10)
pounds or more, shall have affixed thereto in a conspicuous
place on the exterior of the container of such seeds, a plainly
written or printed tag or label in the English language stating:

A: The commonly accepted name of such seed.

B: The approximate percentage by weight of purity; mean-
ing, the freedom of such seeds from inert matter and from other
seeds distinguishable by their appearance; provided that this
purity percentage may be omitted in the case of seed of
corn, soy beans and cowpeas when such seed is free of noxious
and other weed seeds or does not contain more than 3 per cent,
of broken seed of other inert matter.

C: The approximate total percentage by weight of weed
seeds; the term "weed seeds, " as herein used, being defined as
the noxious weed seeds listed in sub-section "D" below and
all seeds not "agricultural seeds. "

D: The name and approximate number of each kind of the
seeds or bulblets of the following named noxious weeds, which
are present at the rate of, or in excess of, one seed or bulblet in
five grams of such agricultural seeds; garlic (Allium vineale),
Bermuda grass (Cynodon dactylon), Johnson grass (Sorghum
halopense), quack grass (Agropyron repens), dodder (Cuscuta
species), Canada thistle (Cirsium arvense), hawkweed (Hiera-
cium species) and perennial sow thistle (Sonchus arvensis).
