addition thereto, on a bill in equity brought for the purpose by
the said racing commission in the Circuit Court for Harford
County, an injunction may be obtained against the same; pro-
vided, however, that any of the corporations or associations com-
ing within the terms of this Act may hereafter conduct matinee
race meetings of not more than two days in duration upon appli-
cation and consent of said commission and upon the payment of
a license fee of ten dollars per day; provided, that no such
corporation or association shall hold more than one of such
meetings in any one month. The said commission shall pay
its own expenses, not exceeding $1, 200 a year, as hereinabove
prescribed; out of the license fee herein provided for, and any
surplus thereafter said commission shall pay over to the treas-
urer of Harford County on or before the first day of October
of each year, to be used and expended in the construction or
maintenance of the public roads located in Harford County,
State of Maryland, as the County Commissioners of said
county may determine.

439A. Sections 204, 205 and 206 of Article 27 of the Code
of Public General Laws of Maryland of 1904, title "Crimes
and Punishments, " sub-title "Gaming, " said Section 206 hav-
ing been amended by Chapter 127 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1906, be and the same are hereby
repealed so far as they apply to Harford County.

REGISTER OF WILLS.

440. The register of wills, during the recess of the Or-
phans' Court, shall have full power and jurisdiction to do all
matters and things whatsoever which the said Orphans' Court
could do at its regular sessions; and there shall be the same
right of appeal from any order, decree or judgment of said
register, as from the orders, decisions or judgments of said
Orphans' Court.

441. It shall be the official duty of the register of wills for
said county, to keep regularly a continuous general index or
key to guardians' accounts, and to wills in his office.

442. The deputy of the register of wills is empowered to
administer all oaths that the register of wills is by law em-
powered to administer.

443. Hugh T. Bay, register of wills of Harford County,
be and he is hereby authorized to make a complete index of
all wills now on record in the Orphans' Court for Harford
County; for which services he shall be entitled to receive such
