rant issued by any Justice of the Peace of said county, and
upon conviction shall be fined not less than twenty-five dollars
nor more than fifty dollars for each and every violation of
the provisions of the preceding section, or for each and every
day upon or during which said person shall or may repeat or
continue such violation of said provisions of said section;
one-half of said fine or fines to be paid as and when collected
to the Commissioners of Fisheries of the State of Maryland,
to be used and expended for the protection of fish and the en-
forcement of laws pertaining to fish, and the other half to
informer.

270. It shall be unlawful for any person to fish with pound
nets in any part of the waters mentioned in Section 268, dis-
tant over two hundred and fifty yards from the shore line of
said water as marked by ordinary high water.

271. It shall be unlawful for any non-resident of this
county to fish, except with hook and line, in any of the tribu-
taries of the Chesapeake Bay lying within the limits of Har-
ford County, unless such non-resident shall own real estate in
said county, or be a renter of lands bordering upon said waters.

272. Any person violating any of the provisions of the
four preceding sections shall forfeit the nets therein described,
and all appurtenances thereto belonging, together with the
boats and materials used in fishing the same; and shall also,
for each offense, upon conviction thereof before any Justice of
the Peace of said County, or upon indictment in the Circuit
Court for said County, pay a fine not less than twenty dollars
nor more than fifty dollars.

273. It shall not be lawful for any person to fish with
gill nets, hauling seines, or set nets of any kind or description,
in the waters of Susquehanna and Tide Water canal between
the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad bridge at Havre de Grace,
and Lapidum in Harford County.

274. Any person violating the preceding section shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be fined not less than ten
dollars nor more than fifty dollars for each and every viola-
tion, one-half of which fine shall go to the informer, and the
balance to the Board of School Commissioners of Harford
County.

275. Any person or persons who shall shoot, kill or wound
any fox or foxes while being pursued by hounds or hound with-
