be established by rules and regulations made in accordance
with the provisions of Section 140-1 of Chapter 156 of the Acts
of 1910.
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect and be
enforced from and after its passage; provided, however, that
no penalty of fine or imprisonment shall be enforced for any
violation of its provisions prior to 12 months after its passage.

CHAPTER 669.
AN ACT to add an- additional section to Article 93 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, title "Testamentary Law, "
sub-title "Inventory and List of Debts, " said additional sec-
tion to come in after Section 213 of said Article 93 of said
Code, and to be designated as Section 213-A, said additional
section relating to the appraisement of property by ap-
praisers of the Orphans' Courts.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That an additional section be and the same is hereby
added to Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title
'' Testamentary Law, '' sub-title '' Inventory and List of Debts, ''
said additional section to come in after Section 213 of said
Article, and to be designated as Section 213-A, and to read as
follows:
213-A. Upon completion of their appraisement, and at or
before the time of filing the same with the Orphans' Court, the
appraisers shall give a true copy of such appraisement to the
local supervisor of assessment appointed by the State Tax Com-
mission of Maryland, provided that if the appraisement be real
estate, then the copy shall be given to the said local supervisor
appointed for the county or city where such real estate lies,
and if it be personal property, goods or chattels, then it shall
be given to the local supervisor appointed for the county or
city where the letters testamentary or administration were
granted. It shall be the duty of such local supervisor to return
