CHAPTER 624.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay the expenses
of the Joint Commission, as authorized by Joint Resolution
Number 9 of Acts of the General Assembly of 1914, to con-
fer with a like Commission on the part of Virginia relative
to needed concurrent fishery legislation.
WHEREAS, Joint Resolution Number 9 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1914 authorized the appointment of a
Joint Commission oh behalf of the State of Maryland to con-
fer with a like Joint Commission on behalf of the State of
Virginia with reference to needed concurrent fishery legisla-
tion; and,
WHEREAS, The said Joint Commission in pursuance of said
authority therein conferred did confer with a like Commis-
sion representing the State of Virginia, as outlined in the
report of the said Commission heretofore made, therefore:
SECTION-1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sum of seven hundred dollars be and the same
is hereby appropriated, 'and the Treasurer is hereby authorized
and directed to pay, upon the warrant of the Comptroller, the
said sum of seven hundred dollars to Carville D. Benson, Chair-
man of the said Joint Commission on behalf of the State of
Maryland, being the expenses of said Commission as above
stated.
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect on the
first day of June, 1916.

CHAPTER 625.
AN ACT to repeal Section 173 of the Acts of 1886, Chapter
184, one of the Public Local Laws of the City of Baltimore,
and codified as Section 316 in the revised Charter of Balti-
more City, 1915, relating to appeals from Baltimore City,
and to re-enact the same with amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 173 of the Acts of 1886, Chapter 184,
codified in the revised Charter of Baltimore City as Section
316, be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, so as to read as follows:
