SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the sum of twenty-five hundred dollars
($2, 500) be and the same is hereby appropriated for the pur-
pose of equipping the State Armory Building at Bel Air, in
Harford County, and for the further purpose of purchasing a
strip of land adjacent to the lot on which the said Armory
Building is located.
The Treasurer of the State is hereby authorized and directed
upon the warrant of the Comptroller to pay to the Bel Air
Armory Commission the amount of money above specified to
be used by said Commission for the purposes set forth in this
Act.

CHAPTER 608.
AN ACT to prohibit the sale of spirituous or fermented, liquor
or lager beer within one mile of the Maryland College for
Women, in the Village of Lutherville, Baltimore County,
State of Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall not be lawful for the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Baltimore County, or any other person or persons,
Who may be authorized by any Act of the General Assembly
of Maryland, to issue licenses for the sale of spirituous or fer-
mented liquors or lager beer, in Baltimore County, Maryland,
to issue any such license to any person or persons or body cor-
porate to sell spirituous or fermented liquors or lager beer
nearer than one mile in all directions from the Maryland Col-
lege for Women, in the Village of Lutherville, Baltimore County,
State of Maryland.
