poration to pay such tax, interest and penalty shall constitute
a cause for forfeiture, for which dissolution proceedings may
be instituted as above provided by this Article.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from June 1, 1916.

CHAPTER 607.

AN ACT to appropriate the sum of Twenty-five Hundred Dol-
lars ($2, 500) for the equipment of the State Armory Build-
ing at Bel Air, and the purchase of certain lands adjacent
to said building.

WHEREAS, The General Assembly of Maryland at its session
of 1914 appropriated the sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars
($30, 000. 00) for the purpose of building a State Armory,
Building at the town of Bel Air, which said building has been
completed and turned over to the State; and

WHEREAS, The said General Assembly at its 1914 session
failed to make any appropriation for the equipment of the
said Armory Building, and the amount appropriated for buy-
ing the land and erecting the building was all expended for
said purposes and there is no balance in the hands of the
Armory Commission from said appropriation with which to
equip the same;

AND WHEREAS, It has developed since the erection of the
said Armory Building that in order to properly drain the sur-
face water away from the lot on which the building is situated
and prevent injury to the building by reason of the water run-
ning into the foundation thereof, it will be necessary for the
State to buy a small parcel of land adjacent to the "lot on
which the said Armory Building is erected, therefore;
