sum of thirty-two thousand, four hundred and two dollars and
thirty-eight cents ($32,402.38), be and the same is hereby ap-
propriated for the payment of the claims as aforesaid.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
