thirty-two thousand, four hundred and two dollars and thirty-
eight cents ($32, 402. 38) for live stock slaughtered between
November 1st, 1914, and May 1st, 1915, by the State Live
Stock Sanitary Board, in the eradication of foot-and-mouth
disease, under and pursuant to the Act of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland of 1888, Chapter 519, as amended by the
Act of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1906, Chapter
431; therefore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the State of Maryland be and
