CHAPTER 599.
AN ACT to refund to certain Collectors of State taxes, moneys
erroneously paid by them into the State Treasury.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be, and he is
hereby authorized and directed to issue his warrant upon the
Treasurer of the State in favor of the following Collectors
of State Taxes for moneys erroneously paid by them into the
State Treasury, the same having received the recommendation
of the Treasury officials, to-wit:
John L. Wellington, Collector Allegany County for the year
1910, the sum of fifty-nine dollars and thirty-one cents
($59. 31); and for the year 1911, the sum of two hundred and
eleven dollars and sixty-seven cents ($211. 67); F. Brooke
Matthews, Collector Charles County for the year 1913, the sum
of one hundred twenty-four dollars and twenty-five cents
($124. 25); William F. E. Long, Collector St. Mary's County
for the year 1910, the sum of one hundred fifty-two dollars and
twenty-seven cents ($152. 27); and for the year 1911, the sum
of one hundred and seventy-five dollars and eighty-four cents
($175. 84); Lewis R. Springer, Collector St. Mary's County for
the year 1913, the sum of twenty-four dollars and two cents
($24. 02); Robert L. Fries, Collector Garrett County for the
year 1910, the sum of eight dollars and eighty-nine cents
($8. 89); and for the year 1911, the sum of thirty-two dollars
and fifty five cents ($32. 55).
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from June 1st, 1916.

CHAPTER 600.
AN ACT to repeal Section 37 of Article 19 of the Code of
Public General Laws, title "Comptroller" as amended by
Chapter 676 of the Acts of 1914, and to re-enact the same
with amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 37 of Article 19 of the Code of Public
General Laws, title "Comptroller" as amended by Chapter
