as set forth in the Charter of Hagerstown in such case made
and provided.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That any Act or parts of an Act
inconsistent with the provisions of this Act be and the same are
hereby repealed,

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of June, 1916.

CHAPTER 72.

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of St. Mary's
County, Maryland, to levy a sum of money to build a school
House for white children in the Third Election District
near Rich Neck of the said County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of St. Mary's
County are hereby authorized and required to levy a sum of
money not to exceed Five Hundred Dollars for the purpose of
building a new School House for white children in the Third
Election District near Rich Neck in the said County; the lot
for said School House to be furnished by the patrons of said
School.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1st, 1916.

CHAPTER 73.

AN ACT to add two new sections to the revised Charter of
Baltimore City, to follow, respectively, Sections 43 and 48,
and to be designated, respectively, 43A and 48A, said two
new sections relating to the expenses incident to tax sales,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new Section be and the same is hereby added
to the revised Charter of Baltimore City, to follow Section
43 and to be designated 43A and to read as follows:
