authorized and empowered to receive the grants of money ap-
propriated under said Act and to organize and conduct the
Agricultural Extension work which shall be carried on in con-
nection with said College or the State of Maryland in accordance
with the terms and conditions expressed in the Act of Congress
aforesaid.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the assent of the State of
Maryland to the grants of money for the purposes, upon the
terms and in accordance with the several conditions and provi-
sions contained in said Act, is hereby signified and expressed
and the Secretary of the State is hereby directed to transmit a
certified copy of this Act to the Treasurer of the United States
and to the Secretary of Agriculture of the United States.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from June 1st, 1916.

AN ACT to authorize the Board of County School Commis-
sioners of Anne Arundel County to borrow money on the
credit of Anne Arundel County to erect, heat and furnish
annexes or additions to the following public schools in said
County: School 13 district 3; school 2 district 3; school 15
district 3; school 4 district 3; school 6 district 3; school 7
district 3; school 1 district 3; school 4 district 1; school 10
district 4; school 2 district 5.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Board of County School Commissioners
of Anne Arundel County, for the purpose of erecting, heating
and furnishing annexes or additions to the following public
school buildings in Anne Arundel County, namely, School 13
district 3; school 2 district 3; school 15 district 3; school 4
district 3; school 6 district 3; school 7 district 3; school 1
district 3; school 4 district 1; school 10 district 4; school 2
