violation of any provision of this Act shall be paid by said
official receiving the same to the County Commissioners of the
respective Counties and by them applied for the maintenance
of the public County Roads of said Counties respectively.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That this Act shall take effect from the First day of
June, 1916.

CHAPTER 519.

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Cecil
County to improve the public road leading from St. Augus-
tine through Cayot's Corner to Town Point Wharf, in Cecil
County, and to provide for the payment of the same in the
annual levy of 191G.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Cecil County
be, and they are hereby, authorized to permanently im-
prove the public road leading from St. Augustine through
Cayot's Corner to Town Point Wharf, in Cecil County, through-
out its entire length, and in the work of said improvement
may use either oyster shells, gravel, crushed stone, macadam
or concrete and may use in some sections one material and in
other sections other of said materials.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That the said Commis-
sioners may levy at the annual levy of 1916 a sufficient sura
of money to meet the improvements provided for in Section
One of this Act and meet any deficiency therein out of any
other moneys in their hands for road improvement and may im-
prove said road under State aid, if they so elect.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on and after June 1st, 1916.
