CHAPTER 57.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 5 of
. Chapter 450 of the Act of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, at its session of 1896, title, An Act to incorporate the
town of Loch Lynn Heights, Garrett County, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 5 of Chapter 450, of the Acts of
1896, title, An Act to incorporate the town of Loch Lynn
Heights, Garrett County, Maryland, be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

Section 5. That on and after the year 1917, the annual
election for officers of said town shall be held on the first Mon-
day of March in each and every. year. The Mayor and Coun-
cil shall have the power to fix the hour and place for holding
said election in said town, and the length of time the polls
shall be kept open, and shall give due notice of such election by
printed or written handbills, posted in at least six public and
conspicuous places in said town, at least ten days prior to the
holding of such election. Said Mayor and Council shall have
power to appoint Judges and Clerks for such elections, and it
shall be their duty to do so, and to make all other necessary
arrangements for holding the same, not herein provided for.
The term of office of all officers of said town shall expire on
the first Monday of March instead of the first Monday of May,
or as soon as their successors are elected and qualified. This
shall include the officers now serving as such in said town.

Approved March 21st, 1916.

CHAPTER 58.

AN ACT to repeal Section 134 and Section 143, Chapter 88 of
the Acts of 1902, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title,
"Allegany County, " sub-title "Frostburg, " providing for the
election of Mayor and the salary of the Mayor and Council-
men and other officers of the Town of Frostburg, and to re-
enact the same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 134 and 143 of the Acts of 1902, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Allegany County, " sub-
