chaser of said property of such payment for purposes of re-
demption.
SEC. 451-J. That after the expiration of two years from the
date of such sale (provided the same shall have been ratified
by the Court) the Treasurer shall, by a good and sufficient deed,
to be executed and acknowledged according to law, and at the
cost of the purchaser, convey to the purchaser or purchasers the
parcels of land so sold; and if the Treasurer making any of such
sales shall die,, remove from the County or cease to be Treasurer
by reason of the expiration of his term of office, or for any
cause, the Treasurer of said County then in office shall execute
such deed as fully and effectually as the collector or treasurer
making such sale might or jcould have done; or in the event that
there be no Treasurer the Circuit Court for Frederick County
shall appoint some person to convey the same.
SEC. 451-K. That any sale of lands by the Treasurer when
the owners are described as heirs shall pass the title as fully as
if such heirs were named in the proceedings by his other proper
name; and if the purchaser of any real estate sold by the Treas-
urer for the payment of taxes shall die without having pro-
cured a deed therefor the Treasurer may convey the said real
estate to the devisees or heirs of the purchaser.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
at the expiration of the term of office of the present Treasurer.

CHAPTER 587.
AN ACT to add a new Section to the Code of Public Local Laws,
Article 4, title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Miscellaneous
Local Laws,'' to follow Section 732, and to be designated Sec-
tion 732-A—Municipal Liens.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new Section is hereby added to the Code of Public
Local Laws, Article 4, title '' City of Baltimore,'' sub-title '' Mis-
cellaneous Local Laws," to follow Section 732 and to be desig-
nated Section 732-A, and to read as follows:
732-A. Municipal Liens. The Mayor and City Council of
Baltimore may establish a sub-department or bureau where the
record of all municipal charges and assessments of every char-
