98 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

Rock Creek to the railroad station at the town of Forest Glen,
within the Thirteenth Election District of said County; all
building and improving and relocating authorised under the
provisions of this Act to consist of the grading of the said roads,
the placing of bridges and culverts, and the construction thereon
of a macadam road bed according to plans and specifications
prepared by the Road Superintendent of Montgomery County,
State of Maryland.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That the said County
Commissioners are hereby authorized and empowered, in their
discretion, to relocate any part of the present road bed of the
said public highways.

SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That on or before the
15th day of April, 1914, there shall be donated by subscription
the sum of One Thousand Dollars to the County Commissioners
of said Montgomery County, to be applied by them, in addition
to the sum of Eleven-Thousand Dollars ($11,000), herein pro-
vided, for the said building, improving and relocating the said
County road from St. Paul Street, known as the Wheaton Road,
at the town of Kensington, by way of the new County road
through Capitol View, to the railroad station at Forest Glen,
otherwise this Act to be null and void in relation to said road;
that on or before the 15th day of April, 1914, there shall be
donated the sum of One Thousand and Five Hundred Dollars,
($1,500), by subscription to the said County Commissioners of
Montgomery County, to be applied by them, in addition to the
sum of Three Thousand and Five Hundred Dollars ($3,500),
herein provided, for the said building, improving and relocating
of said County road from Jones' bridge over Rock Creek to the
said railroad station at Forest Glen, otherwise this Act to be
null and void in relation to said road; it is the intent and pur-
pose, however, of this Act, and so provided, that failure to make
the donation required on either of said County roads shall not
affect the validity of this Act in its relation to the other of said
roads.

SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
