license to be paid to the School Commissioners of Howard
County to be credited by them to the school fund of said
County.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That each applicant for
such a license shall pay the yearly sum of ten dollars ($10.00)
if he be a resident of said County; the sum of twenty-five
dollars ($25.00) if he be a resident of the State outside of said
County; and the sum of fifty dollars ($50.00) if he be not a
resident of the State; and no license shall be issued by said
Clerk of the County Court to any such person until the afore-
said license fee has been paid and until such person has made
oath as to his place of residence.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That every person con-
ducting a sale in violation of Section 1 of this Act shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be
fined not less than ten dollars nor more than fifty dollars in
the discretion of the Court.
SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 75.
AN ACT authorizing and directing the County Commissioners of
Montgomery County to issue bonds to an amount not to exceed
Eleven Thousand Dollars ($11,000), for the purpose of build-
ing, improving and relocating the public road from St. Paul
Street, known as the Wheaton Road, at the town of Kensing-
ton in said Montgomery County, by way of the new County
road through Capitol View, to the railroad station at Forest
Glen; and to further issue bonds not to exceed the sum of
Three Thousand and Five Hundred Dollars ($3,500), for the
purpose of building, improving and relocating the County
road from Jones' bridge over Rock Creek to the railroad sta-
tion at said Forest Glen, in said Montgomery County; pro-
vided that certain donations be made, as hereinafter provided,
to the said County Commissioners to be applied by them for
the purposes herein; and to collect and levy taxes in the Thir-
teenth Election District of said County for the payment of
said bonds and the coupons thereon.
