Justice of the Peace, together with all other fines collected by
him under the provisions of this Section, to be by law disposed
of as directed in Section 43; provided, however, that nothing
in this Act shall apply to or affect non-resident land owners in
Charles County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 486.
AN ACT authorizing and directing the Police Commissioners of
Baltimore City to pay to Peter J. Patterson, a former Police
Sergeant of Baltimore City Police Force, a pension of eleven
dollars per week.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Police Commissioners of Baltimore City are
hereby authorized and directed to pay to Peter J. Patterson,
a former Police Sergeant of the Police Force of Baltimore City,
out of the funds in their possession, or subject to their control, a
weekly pension of eleven dollars, payable on the last day of
each week.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 487.
AN ACT to provide for the selection and purchase of a site, and
for the construction of a public school building, and the fur-
nishing of a heating apparatus and equipment therefor, in or
near the village of Brandywine, Prince George's County,
Maryland, and to authorize the Board of County School Com-
missioners of said county in their discretion to borrow money
for this purpose by the issuing of bonds to be endorsed by the
County Commissioners of Prince George's County, and to au-
thorize the County Commissioners to levy taxes on the assess-
able property of said county to redeem said bonds.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Joseph H. Blandford, Jr., A. T. Robinson, Charles
S. Early, John A. Coe, M. D., William W. Early, Henry St. J.
L. Briscoe, Harry E. Lusby, R. Hugh Perrie, O. B. Zanzinger,
