thereof as may be necessary, to the order of the editor of said
Annotated Code, in payment therefor; and that said sum of
Pour Thousand Dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary,
be and the same is hereby appropriated to pay for said copies
of Volume 3 of said Annotated Code.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the State Librarian
shall distribute the copies of Volume 3 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland to be subscribed for by her as aforesaid, as fol-
lows: ten copies to the Court of Appeals of Maryland; five
copies to the People's Court of Baltimore City; one copy to
each of the other courts in the State; one copy to each of the
Boards of County Commissioners of the State; one copy to
each of the clerks' offices of the courts in the State; one copy to
each of the Registers of Wills offices in the State; one copy to
each of the sheriffs' offices in the State; one copy to each of
the Boards of County School Commissioners of the State; one
copy to each of the Boards of Supervisors of Elections in the
State; one copy to each of the State's Attorneys' offices in the
State; one copy to each of the Police Station Houses in the
State (having criminal jurisdiction) ; three copies to the Pub-
lic Service Commission of Maryland; three copies to the Appeal-
Tax Court of Baltimore City; and one copy to each of the
following officials, boards, commissions and institutions of the
State: The Governor, the Secretary of State, the Attorney-
General, the Comptroller, the Treasurer, the Commissioner of
the Land Office, the State Insurance Commissioner, the State
Tax Commissioner, the State Reporter and Codifier, the State
Auditor, the State Bank Commissioner, the Adjutant-General,
the Commander of the State Fishery Force, the State Fire
Marshal, the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, the Mine Inspec-
tor, the Mayor of Baltimore City, the City Librarian of Balti-
more, the School Board of Baltimore City, the Board of Police
Commissioners of Baltimore City, the State Roads Commission,
the Shell Fish Commission, the State Board of Education, the
Board of State Aid and Charities, the State Board of Health,
the Maryland Hospital for the Insane, the Springfield State
Hospital, and to such other officials, commissions, boards and
libraries as the State Library Committee shall designate; the
remainder of said four hundred copies to be deposited in the
State Library for public use.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
