word, "This sign is the property of the State of Maryland,"
and on the right hand side thereof in similar letters the words:
"$25 Fine, one-half to Informer, for removal, or injury of this
sign," and below shall be plainly marked in large letters the
word "Danger." The ground color of said sign shall be of
bright red and the lettering shall be white.

SEC. 50-c. The Commissioner of Motor Vehicles shall not
expend in any one year for the erection of signs as provided
for in Section 50-a and 50-b of this Article, more than the sum
of One Thousand ($1,000.00).

SEC. 50-d. Any person who removes, injures or defaces any
such sign or signs, as aforesaid provided for, or the letters or
figures thereon, or any other signs erected solely for the direction
of, or the warning of danger to, travelers, and for no other pur-
pose, shall be fined not exceeding Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00),
one-half of which to be paid the Informer and the other half for
the use of the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles.

CHAPTER 423.

AN ACT to amend Sections 60, 61 and 69 of Chapter 401 of the
Acts of 1904, entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments Sections 59 to 79, inclusive, of Article 19 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "St. Mary's
County," sub-title "Leonardtown" and the amendments addi-
tional thereto, as amended and enacted by Chapter 479 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1900, entitled
'' An Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections 73
and 74 of Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
'' St Mary's County,'' sub-title'' Leonardtown,'' and to change
the name of the corporation mentioned therein; and to add
thereto two new Sections to come in after Section 69 to be
known as Sections 69a and 69b, and to authorize a bond issue
and provide means to create a sinking fund for the redemp-
tion of same.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 60, 61 and 69 of Chapter 401 of the Acts
of 1904, entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments Sections 59 to 79 inclusive, of Article 19 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "St. Mary's County,"
