CHAPTER 418.

AN ACT 10 repeal and re-enact with amendments Chapter 12 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, Session of
1908, entitled "An Act to appropriate a sum of money to be
placed at the disposal of the Chief Executive of the State
of Maryland, for the support, maintenance and operation of
the Executive Mansion."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 12 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, Session of 1908, entitled "An Act to appropriate a
sum of money to be placed at the disposal of the Chief Execu-
tive of the State of Maryland, for the support, maintenance and
operation of the Executive Mansion," be repealed and re-
enacted so as to read as follows:

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the sum of ten thou-
sand ($10,000) dollars be and the same is hereby annually ap-
propriated and placed at the disposal of the Chief Executive
of the State of Maryland, to be used by him as he may deem wise
and expedient in the support, maintenance and operation of the
Executive Mansion.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

Approved April 7th, 1914.

CHAPTER 419.

AN ACT to release J. Harman Schone, George W. Yellott, G.
Albert Mays, Arthur W. Shanklin, C. Lyon Rogers, N. Bosley
Merryman, and the personal representatives and heirs of
Henry C. Hutchins, William Parks, Henry J. Hebb, George
W. Morgan, Alf red Fowble and William B. Cochran, deceased,
from all claims which the State of Maryland might otherwise
have or maintain against them or any of them for or on ac-
count of fees and commissions collected by them as Treasurers
of Baltimore County since April 5, 1878, to the present time.

(Vetoed.)
