CHAPTER 413.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Section 1 of
Chapter 83, Acts of 1914, of the General Assembly of Mary-
land.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 1 of Chapter 83, Acts of 1914, of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, be and the same is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted, with amendments, so as to read as
follows:
SEC. 1. The County Commissioners of Allegany County, in
order to provide funds necessary for the erection of a new
public school building in the City of Cumberland, Maryland,
and for the erection of, addition to, and improvement of public
schools in said County, are hereby directed to borrow money on
credit of said County to an amount not exceeding sixty thou-
sand ($60,000.00) dollars, and to issue bonds therefor under
the corporate seal of said Board of County Commissioners,
to be signed by the President of said Board of County Com-
missioners and to be countersigned by the Clerk thereof, in de-
nominations of one hundred dollars ($100,00), five hundred dol-
lars ($500.00), or one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) each, as
may seem most advisable to the said County Commissioners of
Allegany County, said bonds to be issued on June 1st, 1914,
and to bear interest from the date of issue thereof at the rate
of five (5%) per cent, per annum, payable semi-annually; said
bonds when issued shall have written or printed on them a
distinct reference to the Act directing the issue of the same
and shall be designated "Allegany County School Bonds;"
and the said bonds when issued shall be exempt from municipal
and County taxation in Allegany County, and shall be and be-
come a lien upon all the assessable property in Allegany County.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 414.
AN ACT to amend Article 15 of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title "Kent County," sub-title "Liquor and Intoxicating
Drinks," by adding thereto a new Section, to follow Section
151-A, and to be numbered Section 151-B, making it unlawful
