publish the same as they are now required to publish the state-
ment of the County expenses.
SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That no public road shall be
opened or altered in Calvert County, except by and with the
approval of the Road Commissioners, who are hereby empow-
ered and authorized to sit with the County Commissioners at
the hearing of all applications for the opening or altering of
the public roads.
SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That all Acts and parts of
Acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, be, and the
same are hereby repealed, except, however, that nothing herein
is intended to repeal or conflict with any law or laws having
for its object the building or improvement of the highways of
the State under the State's supervision.

CHAPTER 400.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 46a and
46b of Article 5 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Cal-
vert County," sub-title "County Commissioners," as amended
by Chapter 164 of the Acts of Assembly of 1898.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 46a and 46b of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Calvert County," sub-title "County Commis-
sioners," as amended by Chapter 164 of the Acts of Assembly
of 1898, be and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted so
as to read as follows:
46a. The Three County Commissioners for Calvert County
who were elected on the Tuesday next after the first Monday
of November, in the year nineteen hundred and thirteen, shall
hold their office for the term of two years from the date of said
election, or until their successors are duly elected and qualified.
46b. At the general election to be held in said County on the
Tuesday next after the first Monday of November, in the year
nineteen hundred and fifteen, there shall be elected three County
Commissioners, who shall be selected, respectively, one from the
First Election District, one from the Second Election District
and one from the Third Election District of said County, whole
terms of office shall be, respectively, as follows: The one elected
