each year is hereby appropriated to carry out the provisions of
this and the next succeeding Sections.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of May in the year 1914.

CHAPTER 383.
AN ACT to amend the Charter of the Credit Men's Association of
Baltimore City.
WHEREAS, The Credit Men's Association of Baltimore City
was duly incorporated on the 28th day of April, in the year
1898, under the provisions of the General Laws of the State of
Maryland, relating to the creation and regulation of incorpo-
rated companies; and whereas said Charter was amended and its
privileges and powers enlarged by Chapter 315 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland for 1900; and whereas it
is now desired to further amend the said Charter of the said
Credit Men's Association by changing its name from the "Credit
Men's Association of Baltimore City" to "Baltimore Associa-
tion of Credit Men,'' and by changing Section 6 of said Chapter
315 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland for the
year 1900.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the name of the Credit Men's Association of Balti-
more City be, and it is hereby changed to "Baltimore Associa-
tion of Credit Men."
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That Section 6 of Chapter 315
6f the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland for 1900,
which reads as follows:
"SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the members of this cor-
poration shall annually, in the month of October, upon such day
as may be fixed by the Board of Directors, elect by ballot, from
among their members, a president, vice-president and treasurer
and directors, not to exceed twelve in number, who shall hold
office during such terms as may be prescribed by the constitu-
tion or by-laws; the directors, together with the president, vice-
president, treasurer and secretary, shall constitute the Board of
Directors," be, and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments so as to read as follows:
