CHAPTER 371.
AN ACT to add another Section to Article 21 of the Public
General Laws of Maryland, to be known as Section 98, fol-
lowing the enumeration of the Sections as set out in the
Bagby's Annotated Code, 1911.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new Section be and the same is hereby added to
Article 21 of the Public General Laws of Maryland, to be known
as Section 98, following the enumeration of the Sections as
set out in Bagby's Annotated Code, 1911, to read as follows:
98. That the provisions of Chapter 485 of the Acts of 1884
of the General Assembly of Maryland, and the provisions of
Chapter 395 of the Acts of 1888 of the General Assembly of
Maryland, and the provisions of Chapter 207 of the Acts of
1900 of the General Assembly of Maryland were not intended
to apply and do not apply to leases or sub-leases of property
leased for business purposes, when such leases or sub-leases con-
tain a clause prohibiting assigning or sub-leasing all or any part
or parts of the property leased, without the written consent
of the landlord, and where the term of such lease or sub-leases,
including all renewals provided for therein, shall not exceed
25 years.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 372.
AN ACT to authorize and empower Jacob Holzknecht, Louis B.
Holzknecht, Robert Holzknecht and Frederick Holzknecht to
construct a bridge over Dark Head Creek, a branch of Middle
River in Baltimore County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Jacob Holzknecht, Louis B. Holzknecht, Robert
Holzknecht and Frederick Holzknecht be and they are hereby
authorized and empowered to build a bridge over Dark Head
Creek, a branch of Middle River in Baltimore County to con-
.nect the lands of Jacob Holzknecht known as Bull Neck Beach
with the lands on the west side of said creek.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the property in
said bridge when built shall be vested in the said Jacob Holz-
