of the Chief Game Warden of Harford County be entitled to an
allowance of fifty cents for every chicken hawk, pigeon hawk,
booby owl or weasel taken and killed by such person within the
limits of said County, which allowance or allowances shall be
paid out of the funds arising from the sale of licenses and for
fines in the hands of the said Chief Game Warden of Harford
County.
SEC. 44 P. And be it further enacted, That any person kill-
ing any chicken hawk, pigeon hawk, booby owl or weasel shall
produce the head of same before some Justice of the Peace of
said County, and make oath that said hawk, owl or weasel was
taken and killed within the limits of Harford County within
six days then preceding, and the Justice of the Peace shall there-
upon give such person a certificate wherein he shall set forth
the oath and shall at the same time destroy the head of said
hawk, owl or weasel so as to prevent a second allowance; and
the Chief Game Warden aforesaid shall in no case pay the al-
lowance provided for in Section 44 O until the certificate as pro-
vided for in this Section, is presented to him, and in all cases
in which he shall pay the allowance provided for as aforesaid,
he shall keep the certificate of the Justice to be filed by him as
a voucher when making his report to the County Commissioners
of Harford County as hereinbefore provided for in this Act.
SEC. 45. And be it further enacted, That any person against
whom any Justice of the Peace shall render a judgment under
the provisions of the preceding Sections of this Act, may at any
time within ten days from the rendition thereof, appeal from
such judgment to the Circuit Court of Harford County.
SEC. 46. And be it further enacted, That all fines which may
be collected under the provisions of the preceding Sections of
this Act shall be paid in full to the informer or informers or
person or persons securing the conviction of the party or par-
ties violating any of the provisions of said Act, except when the
information and conviction is procured by the Chief Game War-
den of Harford County, and in that event the Chief Game War-
den shall account to the County Commissioners for such fines
in the same manner as he does for the license fees, and the said
fines so collected shall be expended for the same purposes as
the receipts from the license fees aforesaid.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or parts of
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, and all Sections
or parts of Articles of the Code of Public General or Code of
