SEC. 44-L. And be it further enacted, That the said deputy
game wardens shall when acting in an official capacity, except
when on detective duty, wear in plain view a metalic shield
with the words "Deputy Game Warden" inscribed thereon,
which said shield shall be furnished to said deputy game war-
dens by the Chief Game Warden of Harford County, who shall
make provision for the same from the funds in his hands, as
provided for in this Act.
SEC. 44-M. And be it further enacted, That whenever the
services of any deputy game warden shall be no longer required
by the Chief Game Warden of Harford County, the said Chief
Game Warden of Harford County shall give notice in writing
to this effect to the said deputy game warden and shall file a
copy of same in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court for
Harford County, which notice shall be noted by the Clerk upon
the margin of the record where the signature of such deputy
game warden is recorded, and thereafter the power and author-
ity of such deputy game warden shall cease and determine, and
a copy of such notice shall be immediately served on such depu-
ty game warden by the Chief Game Warden of Harford County,
and such service shall be by registered letter through the United
States mail, or by the Sheriff of said County. And such deputy
game warden so removed as aforesaid shall forthwith upon ser-
vice of said copy return to the Chief Game Warden of Harford
County the shield bearing the words "Deputy Game Warden"
which he had previously received from the said Chief Game War-
den when he obtained his commission, and should said deputy
game warden so removed as aforesaid not return said shield to
the Chief Game Warden within thirty days from the date of
said service of said copy of removal as aforesaid, such deputy
game warden shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon
conviction thereof, shall be fined five dollars for each offense.
SEC. 44 N. And be it further enacted, That nothing in this
Act shall be construed to in anywise prevent the Chief Game
Warden of Harford County, the Deputy Game Wardens, or
any other person or persons from having the birds and game
mentioned in this Act in their possession during the closed sea-
son for the purpose of propagation, provided such person or
persons shall first secure from the Chief Game Warden of Har-
ford County a written permission so to do.
SEC. 44 O. And be it further enacted, That every person who
is a bona fide resident of Harford County shall in the discretion
