the provisions of the preceding Section, shall before entering
upon the duties of his office take and subscribe before the Clerk
of the Circuit Court for Harford County the oath or affirmation
- prescribed by the Sixth Section of the First Article of the Con-
stitution of Maryland, and shall subscribe his name in the test
book kept in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Har-
ford County; and the said Chief Game Warden shall before en-
tering upon his duties aforesaid, in addition to taking the afore-
going oath, file a bond in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Harford County in the penalty of Two Thousand
Dollars, conditioned for the faithful performance of his duties
as Chief Game Warden of Harford County, which bond shall
be approved by the said Clerk or one of the Judges of the Circuit
Court for Harford County.
SEC. 44 G. And be it further enacted, That it shall be the
duty of the Chief Game Warden of Harford County to have
general charge, supervision and control of and over all game
wardens appointed for Harford County under this or any other
Act; to prosecute all persons or bodies corporate violating any
of the game or fish laws of this State in force in Harford County,
and to obtain information as to all violations of said game and
fish laws; to have printed the blank forms set forth in this Act
for the licenses and deliver the same to the several Justices
of the Peace of the County; and it shall also be his duty to
receive and safely keep all moneys paid over to him by the sev-
eral Justices of the Peace of Harford County, or by or from
any other person or source by virtue of and through his said
office of Chief Game Warden of Harford County; and he shall
report by itemized sworn account at least once a year to the
County Commissioners of Harford County, all receipts and dis-
bursements made by him under the provisions of this Act.
SEC. 44 H. And be it further enacted, That the Chief Game
Warden of Harford County shall, after the recording of the
oath or affirmation to be by him so taken, in Harford County
be a conservator of the peace, and shall also have and exercise
all the power and authority had, given to and exercised by the
deputy game wardens to be appointed as provided for in this
Act.
SEC. 44. And be it further enacted, That whenever the
Chief Game Warden of Harford County appointed as aforesaid,
shall consider that it is necessary that he should have deputy
game wardens appointed to assist him in more effectively en-
