for the faithful and efficient performance of the work of his
office, and the assistant or assistants so appointed shall take
the oath of office prescribed by the Constitution of this State
and shall execute such bond or bonds as the said Clerk may
require.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect, on the first day of July, 1914, and shall be construed the
same as if no repeal had been made except in so far as the
pre-existing law is changed thereby.

CHAPTER 345.
AN ACT to exempt from State, County and Municipal taxation
the property, real, personal and mixed, and the income and
stock of the Annapolis Water Company, being now exclusively
owned by the City of Annapolis.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section One
Hundred and Sixty-nine of Article 23 of the Code of Public
General Laws, entitled "Corporations," sub-title "Insurance
Companies,'' as said Section was enacted by the Acts of Nine-
teen Hundred, Chapter Five Hundred and Twelve, Section
126-B.

AN ACT to amend Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of the State of Maryland, title "Dorchester County," sub-
title "Fish," by adding new Sections thereto, to follow Sec-
tion 178 to be designated as Section 178 A-1 and Section
178 A-2.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Dorchester County," sub-title "Fish," be and the
same is hereby amended by adding two new Sections thereto, to
