512 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

nership, firm or corporation to use any haul seines of any kind
or description for the purpose of taking fish in those waters of
Dorchester County known and called the Little. Blackwater
River.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That it shall be unlawful
for any person or persons, firm, partnership or corporation to
take fish in the said waters of Dorchester County called the
Little Blackwater River with any trap, the use of which is
lawful, having less than a three-inch mesh.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That any person or per-
sons, firm, partnership or corporation violating any of the pro-
visions of this Act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon
conviction thereof before any Justice of the Peace of the State
of Maryland, in and for Dorchester County, or in the Circuit
Court for Dorchester County, shall be sentenced to pay a fine
of not less than ten nor more than one hundred dollars for each
and every offence, and to stand committed to jail until said
fine and costs are paid.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That all laws, local or
general, inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 329.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendment Section 75, Ar-
ticle 27, of the Code of Public General Laws, title relating to
embezzlement.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 75, Article 27, of the Code of Public General
Laws, title Crimes and Punishment, and the same is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows :

Whosoever being a cashier, servant, agent, or clerk to any
person, or whosoever being a cashier, servant, agent, officer,
or clerk to any body corporate, or being employed for the
purpose or in the capacity of a cashier, servant, agent, officer or
clerk, by any person or body corporate shall fraudulently em-
bezzle any money, goods, bill, note, bond, check, evidence or debt,
or other valuable security or effects which, or any part whereof,
