SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new and additional Section be added to Article
11, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Fred-
erick County," sub-title "Frederick," relating to the owners
of property to be assessed for street improvements, to follow
Section 236-B, as the same was amended by Chapter 72 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1910, to be known
as Section 236-BB, and to follow Section 236-B, be enacted so as
to read as follows:
SEC. 236-BB. Be.it enacted, That the provisions of Section
236-A and Section 236-B of Chapter 72 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland of 1910, in so far as the same relate
to assessing the cost of the work therein provided for, in whole
or in part, upon the property binding upon any street or
streets, lane or lanes, alley or alleys, or part thereof, where any
such improvement has been made, shall apply to all property,
whether owned by any individual, firm or corporation, or by the
County of Frederick, and the words "property binding upon
such street" etc., where used authorizing The Mayor and Alder-
men of Frederick to charge the whole or any portion of the cost
of any such improvement to the abutting owner shall be con-
strued to include all real estate whether owned by any indi-
vidual, firm or corporation, or by the County of Frederick; pro-
vided however, that the provisions of this Section shall not be
construed to authorize the Corporation of Frederick to assess
the costs of any such work to any property owned by the State
of Maryland or held in trust for State purposes; and provided
further that the County Commissioners, of Frederick may, in
their discretion, pay, to The Mayor and Aldermen of Fred-
erick, in addition to ther amount of any such assessment levied
on property owned by them, such additional sum or sums of
money, for any such improvement, as they shall think proper.
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

AN ACT to regulate the taking of fish in the waters of Dorches-
ter County, known as the Little Blackwater River.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
