CHAPTER 36.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 608
and Section 609 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince
George's County, sub-title "Upper Marlboro, " as enacted by
Chapter 123 of the Acts of 1902, as codified by Chapter 22 of
the Acts of 1912, and to add a new Section to said Code, said
new Section to immediately follow Section 609 of said Code
and to be designated as Section 609-A.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly ofMary-
land, That Section 608 and Section 609 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Prince George's County, sub-title "Upper Marl-
boro, " as enacted by Chapter 123 of the Acts of 1902, as codi-
fied by Chapter 22 of the Acts of 1912, be and the same are
hereby repealed and re-enacted, as follows, and that a new Sec-
tion be added to said Code to immediately follow Section 609 of
said Code, and to be designated as Section 609-A, so as to read
as follows:

608. The Board of Liquor License Commissioners of Prince
George's County shall pay over to the Town Commissioners of
Upper Marlboro three-fourths of the money received from liquor
licenses, under the provisions of Chapter 296 of the Acts of
1906, as codified by Chapter 22 of the Acts of 1912, for places of
business within the corporate limits of said town.

609. All town funds received from all sources whatsoever
shall be expended under the orders of the Commissioners of said
Town for the improvement of the streets and roads and lights
within the corporate limits of said Town, and for such other
purposes as said Commissioners may deem beneficial to the town
and the inhabitants thereof provided however, that two fifths
of all town funds shall be expended by said Town Commissioners
in the erecting and maintaining fifteen street lamps within the
corporate limits of said Town.

609-A. It shall be unlawful to do or have done any street
or road work for the improvement of the streets or roads within
the corporate limits of said town, except the emergency work
accessary because of a storm of storms between the fifteenth day
of October and the first day of April, in each year, and any person
violating the provisions of this Section shall be deemed guilty
of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined Ten
Dollars, one half of which fine shall go to the informer and the
other half of said fine shall go to the Town Commissioners of
