inal, crime, date of trial, finding, fees of self, name and fees
of constable or other officer, names and fees of witnesses and
all forfeiture of recognizance in cases tried by him, and shall
pay over to the Treasurer of Wicomico County, the fines and
penalties collected by him, at time of making said report. If
any Justice of the Peace shall fail to make said report or pay
over any fine collected by him as the time herein limited for
so doing, he shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and on
conviction in the Circuit Court for Wicomico County shall be
fined not less than Fifty nor more than Five Hundred Dollars,
or sentenced to be confined in the Maryland House of Correc-
tion for not less than three months or more than two years,
or to both fine and imprisonment.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 246.

AN ACT to repeal Section 2 of Chapter one hundred and ten of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the
January Session, in the year nineteen hundred and eight, en-
titled "An Act to repeal Chapter one hundred and eighty-
three of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed
at the January Session, in the year eighteen hundred and
ninety-six, entitled "An Act to authorize and empower the
Judges of the Circuit Court for Carroll County to appoint a
Court Stenographer," and to re-enact said Section 2 of Chap-
ter one hundred and ten with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 2 of Chapter one hundred and ten of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at its Janu-
ary Session, in the year nineteen hundred and eight, be and the
same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

SEC. 2. And be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Judges of the Circuit Court for Carroll County
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to appoint a
