328 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

(16) Any Register of Wills or Clerk of any Court, or deputy
Register or Clerk or assistant Clerk, appointee or employee of
saicl Register of Wills or Clerk of any Court, or bailiff of any
Court, or officer or employee of any Juvenile Court, who shall
pursue the practice as attorney at law .in this State during the
term of their office or appointment, shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor and on conviction shall be fined not less than
Twenty-five Dollars nor more than One Hundred Dollars, and
be suspended from the practice of law before any of the Courts
of Maryland for one year.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

Approved April 1st, 1914.

CHAPTER 237.

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 351 of the Acts of General Assembly
of Maryland passed at its Session in the year 1892, entitled:
'' An Act to incorporate the town of Walkersville, in Frederick
County, Maryland," as the same was amended by Chapter
513 of the Acts of 1904, Chapter 45 of the Acts of 1906,
Chapter 68 of the Acts of 1908 and by Chapter 473 of the
Acts of 1910, and to enact the following Sections, in lieu
thereof incorporating the town of Walkersville, in Frederick
County, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 351 of the Acts oi the General Assembly
of Maryland, passed at its session in the year 1892, entitled
"An Act to incorporate the town of Walkersville, in Frederick
County, Maryland," as the same was amended by Chapter 513
of the Acts of 1904, Chapter 45 of .the Acts of 1906, Chapter
68 of the Acts of 1908, and by Chapter 473 of the Acts of
1910, be and the same is hereby repealed, and that the following
Sections incorporating the town of Walkersville, in Frederick
County, be enacted in lieu thereof, so as to read as follows:

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That the citizens of the town of Walk-
ersville, in Frederick County, be and they are hereby consti-
tuted a body corporate, by the name of the '' Burgess and Com-
missioners of Walkersville," and by that name shall have per-
petual succession, may purchase and hold real, personal or mixed
property, and may sue and be sued, and have and use a com-
mon seal.
