being unsuitable, even if it should hereafter be deemed practical
to build another Alms House, and the said tract of land is un-
suitable and cannot be used for any further purpose in that
line; it is non-productive and cannot be used for any other
practical purposes for the benefit of the said Charles County,
Maryland; now, therefore:

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land., That the County Commissioners sell said tract of land
known as the Alms House tract, and that the proceeds be turned
over to the County Treasurer to be deposited by said Treasurer
in his name as such Treasurer to be disposed as by law directed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the manner of said
sale shall be as follows: They shall sell by public auction in
La Plata, the County seat of said County, after publication for
not less than twenty days, in at least two newspapers pub-
lished in said County, to the highest bidder or bidders for cash,
and upon payment of the purchase price, and not before, make
return of said sale to the Circuit Court for said County, sitting
in equity, which said Court is hereby authorized to take juris-
diction of the manner of said sale, and upon ratification thereof
by the said Court, and due public notice of its intention so to do,
convey the same by good and sufficient deed to the purchaser or
purchasers thereof, in fee simple.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 32.

AN ACT to add a sub-section to Section 32-R of Chapter 116 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1910, to
come in after Section 32-R, and to be known as Section 32-Ra,
relating to the Annapolis-Baltimore boulevard, and directing
the State Roads Commission to take over the bridges over
College Creek and Severn River, and the roadway connecting
the same, not later than March 10th, 1914.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a sub-section be added to Section 32-R of Chapter
116 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1910,
to come in after Section 32-R, and to be designated as Section
32-Ra, and to read as follows:
