CHAPTER 179.
AN ACT to repeal Section 21 of Chapter 180 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed in 1832 and 1833, said
Act being entitled "An Act to incorporate the Beaverdam and
Harrington Branch Canal Company," to add two new Sec-
tions, numbered Sections 21 and 22 and declaring Sections 1, 2,
3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20
to be in full force.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 21 of Chapter 180 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, passed in 1832 and 1833, said Act being
entitled "An Act to incorporate the Beaverdam and Harrington
Branch Canal Company,'' be and the same is hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,
6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 of Chapter
180 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1832 and 1833, en-
titled "An Act to incorporate the Beaverdam and Harrington
Branch Canal Company," be in full force as when originally
enacted, any non-user or misuser of the incorporation therein
provided for to the contrary notwithstanding, and that two new
Sections be added, numbered Sections 21 and Section 22.
SEC. 21. Five of the Owners composing the "Beaverdam and
Harrington Branch Canal Company" shall constitute a quorum
to transact all business of every kind and character either at
the annual or occasional meetings.
SEC. 22. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 180.
AN ACT to repeal Section 12 of Chapter 495 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, of the Session of 1898, en-
titled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments the
charter of the town of Brunswick, in Frederick County, as
said charter was enacted by Chapter 577 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Ses-
sion of 1890 and amended by Chapter 520 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1894, and by Chapter 380 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of 1896," and to re-enact said Sec-
