246 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That the aforesaid Commission
shall have the power to have condemned such quantity of land
as they may deem necessary in order to carry out the provisions
of this Act under the provisions of Chapter One hundred and
seventeen and Five hundred and thirty-two of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Ses-
sion of 1912.

SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That the members of the Kennedy-
ville Public School Commission before entering upon the dis-
charge of the duties imposed upon said Commission by the pro-
visions of this Act, shall collectively as such Commission give
bond in the penalty of Six Thousand Dollars, which bond shall
be given to the State of Maryland with security to be approved
by the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Kent County, Maryland,
with the condition that the obligors shall well and faithfully
execute the duties imposed upon them by the provisions of this
Act, and after the erection and completion of the aforesaid
public school house, the said Commission shall turn over to the
Board of County Commissioners for Kent County all sums of
money and property, if any there be, remaining in their hands.
The bond provided for by this Act shall be filed with the Clerk
of the Circuit Court for Kent County, Maryland, and be re-
corded by him, and the expense of recording said bond, together
with the premium paid a Surety Company therefor, if a cor-
porate bond is obtained, shall be paid out of the funds in the
hands of said Commission.

SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That the aforesaid commission
before purchasing their site (if one is necessary to be pur-
chased), and before contracting for the building of said public
school house, may set aside and reserve out of the funds which
they shall receive from the County Commissioners for Kent
County as hereinbefore provided, such sum as they may deem
necessary for the equipment of said public school house, includ-
ing the cost of heating and lighting the same.

SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That the Board of County School
Commissioners for Kent County may at any time in their dis-
cretion establish and maintain in the public school house herein
authorized and directed to be erected in Kennedyville a course
of instruction in agriculture and domestic science, in addition
to the regular public school courses of instruction.

SEC. 11. And be it enacted, That as a preliminary and pre-
requisite to the exercise of the powers and authority hereby
