236 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

thereof, and shall be sold by the County Commissioners of Talbot
County for a sum of money not less than the par value of same.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said bonds, to be issued
under this Act, shall mature one in each and every year from
the date of issuing the same, and said bond, with interest there-
on, shall be paid and cancelled by the said County Commissioners
of Talbot County one in each and every year until the whole
of said bond issue has been paid, and the date of issuing shall be
the same on all the bonds issued under this Act.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That to pay and cancel the said
bonds issued under this Act, the said County Commissioners of
Talbot County shall annually levy upon the bond maturing
each and every year and interest on all the bonds issued under
this Act outstanding and unpaid, and the amount of said tax
shall be separately kept by the said County Commissioners of
Talbot County and designated as "The Peach Blossom, Tripped
Creek and Hillsboro Bridge Construction Loan Fund."

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the bonds hereby
authorized to be issued shall be exempt from all County and
municipal taxation, and that the coupons from the interest
thereon shall be receivable by the County Treasurer of Talbot
County in payment of County taxes.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the proceeds from the sale
of said bonds, or so much thereof as may be necessary for the
purposes herein mentioned, shall be applied to the construction
or reconstruction of bridges over Peach Blossom Creek, Trippe's
Creek and Tuckahoe Creek at Hillsboro, in said County, and for
the proper building and construction of the public roadway
between the said Trippe's Creek Bridge and Peach Blossom
Bridge, and from Hillsboro Bridge toward Cordova for a dis-
tance of one mile, under State aid in accordance with the pro-
visions of the law known as the Shoemaker Law.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That any balance from the pro-
ceeds of the sale of the said bonds herein provided for shall be
retained by the County Commissioners of Talbot County for the
use of the general public road fund and the payment of ex-
penses incident to this bond issue.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
