1718 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

(St. Vincent's) Catholic Orphans' Home in the Archdiocese
of Baltimore, all payable to James Cardinal Gibbons, Roman
Catholic Archbishop of Baltimore for the time being, a corpor-
ation sole, and to his successors and to St. Mary's Catholic
Church of Pocohontas, Pennsylvania, and to the Catholic Or-
phans' Home (at or near Gresson, Pennsylvania) in the diocese
of Altoona, Pennsylvania, payable to the Right Reverend Eu-
gene A. Garvey, Bishop of said diocese; which said will is of
record in the office of the Register of Wills for said Garrett
County in Wills Liber B, folio 433.

30. (a) To the bequest of $100.00 to the Maryland Avenue
Methodist Episcopal Church of Annapolis, Maryland; (b) the
bequest of $100.00 to the endowment Guild of St. Anne's Parish
in Anne Arundel County, Maryland; and (c) to the bequest of
the residue of the estate of Meliora Duvall, late of Annapolis,
Maryland, deceased, ascertained to be $1,648.30, as shown by
the Auditor's account, duly filed and ratified in the case of
Ridout vs. Claude, No. 3457 Equity, in the Circuit Court for
Anne Arundel County, to the First Methodist Episcopal Church
of Annapolis, Maryland, as contained in the last will and testa-
ment of the said Meliora Duvall, deceased.

31. To the following gifts, devises and bequests contained in
the last will and testament of David Henry Carroll, late of
Baltimore City, deceased, dated September 26th, 1907, and
recorded in the office of the Register of Wills of Baltimore City
in Liber H. W. J. No. 114, folio 194, &c., to wit: (a) To the
gift, devise and bequest of two hundred shares of an equal
division into five hundred shares, of the rest and residue of
his property and estate, unto "The American University,"
chartered by the Congress of the United States, and located
in Washington, D. C.; (b) to the gift, devise and bequest of
sixty of these equal shares to be used in the establishment of
an Orphanage for Boys in the City of Baltimore and vicinity,
under the auspices of the Methodist Episcopal Church; (c) to
the gift, bequest and devise of fifty of these equal shares to
"The Home for the Aged of the Methodist Episcopal Church
in Baltimore," incorporated under the laws of the State of
Maryland, for the erection of a building or an addition to the
present building, to be known as a "Memorial to Mrs. David
H. Carroll;" (d) to the gift, devise and bequest of twenty-five
like shares to the "Board of Foreign Missions of the Methodist
Episcopal Church, Incorporated;" (e) to the gift, devise and
bequest of twenty-five like shares to the "Board of Home Mis-
