Board of Health, and all construction and construction work
thereunder shall be done in accordance with such approved
plans and specifications, and shall be subject throughout to the
approval of the State Board of Health. Also, the plans and
specifications of all sewers, sewerage systems, and sewage dis-
posal plants proposed to be purchased by the County Commis-
sioners of Baltimore County, under the provisions hereof, to-
gether with the contract for such purchase, shall be first sub-
mitted to the State Board of Health, and approved by the State
Board of Health, as a prerequisite to the legality of any such
contract.
The maintenance and operation of all structures herein pro-
vided for shall be subject to the approval of the State Board
of Health.
All rules and regulations formulated by the County Commis-
sioners of Baltimore County, under the provisions of this Act,
shall be subject to the approval of the State Board of Health.
Nothing herein provided shall be taken as restricting any
control which the State Board of Health, is or may be hereafter,
empowered by law to exercise within Baltimore County or
throughout the State.
SEC. 14. Be it further enacted, That Chapter 157 of the
Acts of 1912, entitled "An Act to amend Article 3 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title 'Baltimore County,'
by adding eight new Sections thereto under the sub-title ' Health
and Sanitary Officers,' to be known as Sections 132-L, 132-M,
132-N, 132-O, 132-P, 132-Q, 132-R and 132-S of said Article, the
same providing for the construction and maintenance of sewers
and drains in said County, the compelling of connections with
private sewerage plants under certain conditions, and the ac-
quisition of such plants by said County," be and the same is
hereby repealed.
SEC. 15. And be it further enacted, That all Acts and parts
of Acts, laws and parts of laws inconsistent with this Act, or
any part thereof, be and the same are hereby repealed to the ex-
tent of such inconsistency.
SEC. 16. Be it further enacted, That this Act shall be taken
and construed as an entire Act and plan, and should the pro-
vision for the bond issue provided for in this Act fail to be
ratified by the people or be declared invalid by the Courts, then
this entire Act shall be ineffective and void.
