CHAPTER 846.
AN ACT to except all foreign corporations and associations from
any benefit of any limitations as to any judgment or judg-
ments heretofore or hereafter to be recovered against them in
any court or courts of the State of Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That no foreign corporation or association shall have any
benefit of any limitation as to any judgment heretofore or here-
after to be recovered against it in any court or courts of this
State; but such judgment, whether now above twelve years
standing or not, shall be good and pleadable, and shall be ad-
mitted in evidence, and an execution or attachment may be is-
sued thereon, and it may be otherwise proceeded with, as well
after, as within, twelve years from its date. '
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That it is not the intent
of this Act to interpret existing law.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That all statutes now in
force and all existing rules of law which may be inconsistent
with this Act, are hereby repealed in so far as may be necessary
to accomplish the purpose of this Act.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 847.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 45 of
Article 26 of the Code of Public Civil Laws of Maryland of
1911, title "Courts," sub-title "Salaries of Judges," the effect
of this Act being to increase the salaries of the Chief Judge
and of the associate Judges of each of the first seven judicial
circuits of the State of Maryland, to increase the salary of the
Judge of the Court of Appeals from Baltimore City, and of
each of the several Judges of the Supreme Bench of Baltimore
City.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 45 of Article 26 of the Code of Public Civil
Laws of Maryland of 1911, title "Courts," sub-title "Salaries
of Judges" be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted
with amendments so as to read as follows:
