162 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Article Twenty-two of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Washington County," sub-title
"Liquor and Intoxicating Drinks," be and the same is hereby
amended by adding an additional Section thereto, to follow
Section 325-G of said Article, as enacted by Chapter 380 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of the year 1908,
and to be known as Section 325-G G, and to read as follows:

SEC. 325-G G. If any person who has taken out a license
under the provisions of Article Twenty-two of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Washington County,"
sub-title "Liquors and Intoxicating Drinks," as enacted by
Chapter 380 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland
of the year 1908, shall die, his widow, executor or administrator
may carry on- business under such license for the residue of
the time covered by such license, or until an assignment shall
be made of such license, whichever shall first occur, and such
widow, executor or administrator so carrying on business shall
in every respect be subject to all requirements, provisions and
penalties set forth in said Article Twenty-two as enacted by
said Chapter 380 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land of the year 1908, and also entitled to all privileges and
benefits thereby conferred, provided that said widow, executor
or administrator execute a bond as required by said Act, or
that the surety or sureties upon the bond of the person so dying
shall first file their or its consent in writing with the Clerk of
the Circuit Court for Washington County to the conduct of
such business by said widow, executor or administrator, in
which event said surety or sureties shall be bound with respect
to such widow, executor or administrator the same as in his
lifetime, with respect to the person so dying, according to the
terms and conditions of such bond.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT providing for the foreclosure of the mortgage now held
by the State of Maryland on certain lands and property of the
Maryland Agricultural College, authorizing the Treasurer of
the State of Maryland to purchase said property at the fore-
