Wilson, John W. Staton and Edward J. Dashiell, their asso-
ciates, successors and assigns, be and they are hereby created
and made a body corporate by the name and style of Worcester
Transit Company, and by that name shall have perpetual suc-
cession, and shall be capable in law to hold and dispose of prop-
erty, to sue and be sued, to plead and be pleaded, answer and
defend, and to be answered and defended in any Courts of Law
or Equity, and in any other place whatsoever, to receive and
make deeds and contracts, to make, have and use a common
seal, and the same to change, alter or renew at pleasure, to
ordain and establish such by-laws or ordinances and regula-
tions as may appear necessary for regulating the concerns of
said corporation, not being contrary to this Act; to purchase,
own, possess, freight, hire and charter boats, automobiles and
auto-omnibusses propelled by electric, steam, gas, gasoline or
other motive power and to charge and receive compensation,
pay or hire on all merchandise or other things transported by
said company and for passengers conveyed therein, and gen-
erally to do all such acts and things as shall be proper and
necessary for the purpose of conducting a line or lines of boats,
automobiles and auto-omnibussess propelled by electric, steam,
gaa, gasoline or other motive power for the transportation of
merchandise and other things and the conveyance of passengers
to, from and through Snow Hill to other points in the State
of Maryland or elsewhere on the public highways and waters
and also to engage in any lawful business calculated to give
employment to said boats, automobiles and auto-omnibusses.

CHAPTER 831.
AN ACT regulating the shipment, transportation, delivery, carry-
ing, bringing into, handling and distributing of spirituous,
vinous, fermented, malt or intoxicating liquors, or any mix-
ture thereof containing alcohol for beverage purposes, in
Caroline, Queen Anne's, Talbot, Dorchester, Somerset, Wor-
cester, Kent, Cecil and Wicomico Counties, except as herein
provided, and providing penalties for the violation of the
same.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall be unlawful for any corporation, firm, part-
nership, club or association of individuals to have shipped into
