thereon their approval and pass and transmit in duplicate to
the said Commission, copies thereof, which when signed by the
Secretary of said Commission, shall be the permit under which
the work shall be prosecuted. And if the State Board of
Health do not approve they shall make such recommendation to
the Commission as they see fit, and the Commission shall there-
upon order such recommendations adopted before granting per-
mission for the work to proceed. No change affecting the
capacity or efficiency of the system shall be made after a permit
has been issued without the approval of the Commission. The
said Commission or its employes and representatives of the
State Board of Health shall have access to such work at all
times.

529-Q. And it is further enacted, That the said Commis-
sion shall have and are hereby authorized to establish and col-
lect just and equitable annual maintenance charges or rents
from every individual, corporation or municipality entering
his or its sewer into the county system. This shall be known
as a sewerage maintenance tax, and as such shall be kept sepa-
rate from the tax assessed for bond issues. All revenues de-
rived from this source shall be deposited in a separate account
in the manner and place as hereinbefore set forth for sewerage
and drainage tax, and shall be used for the purpose of actually
operating and efficiently maintaining the portion of the county
system used by those paying the tax. The sewerage main-
tenance tax shall be levied and collected annually and enforced
at the same time and in the same manner as other county and
State taxes.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall be
construed as an entire Act and plan.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 794.

AN ACT to regulate the sale and dispensing of bichloride of
mercury in tablet form for antiseptic purposes.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That all tablets made of bichloride of mercury in sufficient
quantity to render said tablets strong enough for antiseptic
purposes, each tablet shall be triangular, diamond, square, ob-
long, or other irregular shape, and the color of each and every
